This may just be the perfect class for new knitters who want to try their first garment!  A simple shape, slightly adventurous stitches, and valuable techniques are all combined into a very wearable spring and summer accessory that you can throw on over jeans, shorts, or a sundress!

Students should know how to knit and purl, and will learn simple decreases, 3-needle bind-off and easy lace stitches.  Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with a yummy new plant fiber!
