The Inspira cowl is a fun design that has a few variations (check out the Ravelry page to choose the one that you like best). Mine is the Steampunk Inspira, which is worked in fingering weight yarn. I used Koigu KPPPM yarn, and I added stitches to the pattern to make sure it would fit over both shoulders. Other Inspira variations call for aran weight and bulky weight. If you want to choose another weight of yarn or alter the size, it's easy to regauge or resize the patterns. As your KAL leader, I can help with that!

We'll start the knitalong on January 21 and it will run for 4 weeks.  That should give you time to choose your style, buy your yarn, and get super comfortable with the stranding technique needed for the Inspira's colorwork. Not only will you end up with a beautiful accessory that you'll be able to wear into the first cool days of Spring, the Inspira Cowl will be a great design to knit as gifts!
