Would you like to contribute something to help women who have lost their breasts to cancer? If so please join Donna and Kerry from Knitted Knockers with us on May 11th for a free class to learn how to crochet or knit “knockers”.
What, you may ask, are Knitted Knockers? You probably know that “knockers” is slang for breast, so it means, literally “knitted breast”. These pretty, soft, cool and washable “knockers” are a wonderful alternative to the heavy, hot, and sometimes uncomfortable to wear prostheses provided by the medical community. Join women from 6 continents and many countries around the world who are knitting “knockers” which are provided free of charge to any woman who has a need and requests them.
Pattern: Provided in class
Yarn: Berroco Modern Cotton or Universal Bamboo Pop
